  • Since 2024, our church has proudly supported and been involved with Next Generation for Christ, a transformative mission dedicated to reaching and empowering young individuals through the powerful medium of storytelling and film. Their mission is rooted in sharing the Gospel and fostering spiritual growth among the youth, helping them navigate the challenges of today’s world with faith and resilience.

At the heart of this initiative is the Story of Redemption film series, designed to engage, inspire, and uplift viewers by illustrating the profound themes of grace, forgiveness, and transformation. Each film in the series not only tells compelling stories but also serves as a tool for discussions on faith, providing insights into God's unwavering love and the journey of redemption that we all can experience.

The Next Generation for Christ team is passionate about creating films that resonate with young audiences around the world, encouraging them to explore their faith in a relatable and meaningful way. Their commitment goes beyond filmmaking; they actively engage with communities in seven different world regions, providing resources and support to help young people grow in their spiritual journeys.

Life House is dedicated to serving women and children in need through a holistic approach that addresses spiritual, emotional, safety, and financial needs. Over the past six years, Life House has sheltered more than 214 mothers and welcomed over 139 babies into the world, providing a safe haven rooted in faith and love.

Recognizing the complex and urgent needs of these women, Life House emphasizes a Christ-centered approach. Their ministry prioritizes addressing spiritual needs, viewing each woman’s journey as an entry into Christ’s sanctuary, with Bible studies and spiritual encouragement integral to their daily routines. Every life at Life House is seen as sacred—each baby saved from abortion or human trafficking, affirming God’s view of every life as precious.

Life House understands that each mother is a unique individual with multi-faceted needs. They continually seek innovative solutions to meet these challenges:

    ●      Financial Support: From the outset, they’ve provided for medical and living expenses during the first year of a mother's journey, sometimes longer, to ease the financial burdens that often lead to difficult decisions.

    ●      Vocational Training: Embracing the principle of empowering women for lifelong independence, Life House offers vocational opportunities to help mothers gain skills for self-sufficiency after leaving the program.

    ●      Emotional Well-being: Many women arrive with long-term patterns of decision-making rooted in low self-esteem or lack of understanding of their divine value. Life House offers programs like Flourish and parental workshops to foster emotional health and growth.

    ●      Adoption Support: For mothers unable to raise their babies, Life House facilitates and supports adoption partnerships with Christian families, successfully making numerous referrals and walking alongside adoptive families.

Supported by our church, Life House continues its mission of bringing hope, healing, and spiritual renewal to women and children in need, reflecting the love of Christ in every step of their journey.

  • Since 2005, Camp ARK has been a beacon of hope and faith for children in Samara, Russia. North County church has been formally supporting this work since 2023. Originally launched as a family church event for just 25 children, the camp has blossomed into an annual tradition that welcomes a growing number of participants each year, except for the unforeseen pause during the 2020 pandemic. By 2022, Camp ARK welcomed 128 children, along with 183 participants overall, including teen helpers and Christian adults, demonstrating the camp's profound impact on the community.

Camp ARK serves as a vibrant platform for sharing the Gospel and fostering relationships among believers from various Churches of Christ across Russia. Each year, counselors and volunteers from locations such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, and many others come together to guide and mentor the children. The camp has been richly blessed, with involvement growing from local congregations to include enthusiastic participants from 11 cities, reflecting the unifying power of faith.

An important aspect of Camp ARK is its evangelistic dedication. Since 2010, approximately 70-80% of our campers have come from families who do not attend church, allowing us to reach the local community effectively. The camp not only cultivates spiritual growth for the children, but it also creates a space for friendship and support as they invite their peers to join the experience. Last year, 21 new children attended for the first time, brought by friends who had already been blessed by the camp.

In addition to the summer camp, our commitment to these young lives continues throughout the year. We conduct follow-up trips to Samara every 4-6 weeks, providing ongoing support and spiritual guidance.

Camp ARK is not just a camp; it's a ministry that embodies the love of Christ and serves as a testament to the strength of faith within our community. Join us as we continue this vital work, nurturing the next generation and spreading the message of hope.
